WILIUG Bylaws (Adopted September 2004)
Over the summer, the Steering Committee held a series of conference calls to develop and finalize our WILIUG Bylaws. The group referred to the MN IUG and MA IUG bylaws to gather ideas. The designated contact from each member institution will receive a hard copy of the WILIUG bylaws. They are also available here on this site.

Total Institutional Members: 28
Total Staff: 79
Wisconsin Libraries: 18
Illinois Libraries: 10
Members by Library Type

Academic: 20
Public: 7

Law: 2 (one of which is also counted as academic)
Consortia: 2 (one of which represents academic libraries; one of which represents academic, public, school, and special libraries)

Membership Form
There is an annual fee to become a WILIUG institutional member. This fee is per institution meaning multi-branch libraries need only pay one fee, whereas individual libraries within a consortium need to pay separate fees for membership including the consortia office if one exists. The fee then covers any interested staff from the institution.

REGIONAL IUGS GET ACTIVE
Nationally there has been an increase in activity by new and existing regional IUG groups! There seems to be a real need for Innovative support and discussion happening on a local level. This is true here in our area as well. You can help by participating in WILIUG events and meetings, and by letting other regional libraries know about our group and its purpose.

OFFICERS NEEDED FOR 2005
In Spring 2005, there will be an election for the following WILIUG offices whose terms will run from July 1, 2005 to June 30, 2007: Chair-Elect, Secretary, Membership Chair and one Member-at-Large. For more information, please see Article VI. Section 1 of the WILIUG Bylaws.

UPDATING THE WILIUG DIRECTORY In the near future, the Membership Chair and WILIUG Chair will strive to update the WILIUG directory. Here there will be a list of all WILIUG members including the designated contact, address information and a link to the member library's WebOPAC.
